Client Case Studies

Case Study 1: Michela, Naturopath, Victoria, Australia

Michela was great one-on-one with clients, but she needed to promote her practice and reach more people. She was terrified of public speaking, relying exclusively on word of mouth. Two new natural therapists had set up business near her and she needed to learn how to distinguish herself from competitors.

  • Michela learned how to heal her speaking nerves and connect authentically with a group.
  • She was able to introduce herself and her service at networking events and built new referrals and relationships.
  • She created and delivered a half-day workshop on mindfulness and menopause management to 75 women.

As a result, Michela now has a small waiting list, is planning to deliver her next workshop and was a guest speaker in a teleseminar series on Aging Well.

Case Study 2: Esther, Charity CEO, Auckland, New Zealand

Esther was a confident and experienced leader and manager. She had a clear sense of purpose, enjoyed taking risks and was passionate about her work. However, she felt intimidated and acted defensively at meetings with the largely male board. This impacted her ability to be a powerful, long-term influencer.

  • Esther came to believe in her right to stand her ground and be heard. She began making choices rather than decisions and increased her options.
  • She deepened her ability to communicate and connect with presence

As a result, Esther was elected for a second term. She was also headhunted by another organisation (she declined). Esther also now presents at conferences in front of industry colleagues and handles media pressure with greater ease.

Case Study 3: Jeffery, Author & Coach, Brisbane, Australia

Jeffery helped others to play big and realise their dreams, but was hiding his own.He was worried about judgements people might make if they knew he was shy – he thought it was painted on his face. He needed to learn how to speak in front of groups and a camera, but wanted to do it privately, at his pace and pain-free.

  • Jeffery learned how to stand in his truth to show who is truly is and how to connect heart to heart with his audience.
  • Jeffery tapped into his powerful writing ability to develop naturally compelling presentations, inspiring others to take action in their own lives.

Jeffery still describes himself as "shy", but feels it no longer holds him back. He has worked out how to use it to his advantage to connect more deeply with others.
